’23 Welcome to our 2023-2024 All-School Employee Handbook. Many of you know that I commonly describe our faculty and sta昀昀 as the “special sauce” that makes BB&N the incredible place that it is. This school works because of you—the dedicated professionals who nurture the BB&N community and transform the lives of our students. Thank you! To those of you who are returning to BB&N this year, thank you for believing in our school’s mission, values, and vision, and for sharing your talents with our community. To those who are new to BB&N, welcome to our community. This is a special place that provides amazing opportunities to a diverse student body in a manner that allows all students to learn to the depth and breadth of their abilities. None of this would be possible without the 300-plus caring adults who dedicate their professional energies to our students. Please know that we do not take that dedication for granted, and hope that this handbook provides you with a sense of all that we do to support and nurture you, such as your bene昀椀ts, available resources, and the policies that govern your work.
