Fit in 2, 5, 10 or 20 minutes throughout your day. Every active minute adds up to better health. GETTING STARTED: 1.Start Simple - simply sit less and move more, like walking to the mailbox and doing squats at your desk. 2.Be Active With A Friend - those who exercise with a friend tends to adhere best with exercise. 3.Motivation is key - Try a tracker to track your progress! Exercise is medicine! Many studies have confirmed that regular exercise can help prevent, manage, and even reverse chronic conditions is some cases. The American College of Sports Medicine started the movement “Exercise is Medicine (EIM)” due to the overwhelming evidence of the power of being active. You don’t have to belong to a gym or have expensive wearables. Just like the centenarians from the Blue Zones, the best exercise for you is The one you enjoy most, but also the one you can easily incorporate into your daily schedule and the one you can keep doing up to your hundredth birthday and beyond.
