Compensation • EBS has no preference as to commissions vs. fee-based consulting. We will work within the framework preferred by Velcro Companies • Currently EBS is paid a consulting fee of $100,000 per year (paid quarterly) • EBS guarantees consulting fees for a period of one year and it can be negotiated annually. • Target EBS compensation for a client of similar size would be approximately $198,000 o Based upon a fee of $24 pepm with total full-time benefit eligible headcount of 688 • Fees do not include printing & mailing charges, certain travel expenses outside of New England (negotiable), and pass-through fees from mutually agreed upon vendors outside the scope of the agreement (e.g. Decision Support, Benefits Admin, Engagement Platforms, Actuarial Services, Advocacy, etc.) • Commission earned through the sale of Voluntary Benefit plans are not included in the consulting fee. 2023 EBS Services & Capabilities 16
